Do I need a serger to sew knits or can I sew them using a regular sewing machine? if so what kind of stitches would i use and would i need elastic thread? im lost when it comes to this! lol

Simple double layered high waisted skirt with pom pom trim, contrasting exposed zipper and matching waistband. Bought everything at a local walmart that sells fabric  Smiley

A friend and I found this fabric at joann's and fell in LOVE with it (we have an old car fetish) so we decided to make purses out of them. i only posted mine but hers looks exactly the same. oh and i used Simplicty 2685  Smiley

Decided to make my own prom dress this year! I think i made about 3 dresses before i decided on this one (a week before prom). I stayed up til 4 about 3 nights in a row and was up til 3:30 the night before prom finishing it but it was completely worth it. I wanna go to publix in this dress X) oh and sorry about the links, i hate the picture posting rule >=(

anyone have any special glazing techniques? i saw this one special on DIY network where they glazed bisqueware using shaving cream for a marbelized effect and alcohol for shading and ever since seeing this i've yet to find any other techniques!

i made the bathing suit from an old bridesmaid dress, sash was ribbon and stickers, and the cape was glittery copper tulle on top of red tulle with a red wire flame frame ( which you can't really notice  Sad) I didn't have enough time to do my hair correctly but i still loved the way it turned out  Smiley
