I received a wonderful Artist's choice card from blupaisan, and a fabulous portrait card from Gozer. The summerland card is based on a real stamp. I noticed that it wasn't just handbrake, but also minutely collaged as I took it out of the plastic sleeve to take the photo. Amazing!
And the portrait. Just fabulous! It's just great.  Hubby gives you two thumbs up!  Smiley

Those are some truly fantastic cards! The diorama is taking ATCs to a completely different level!

Fluff would have been awesome Wink
The card is absolutely amazing either way - I am in awe of people who can felt!

I usually use whatever paper I have on hand - if it's too thin I glue it to some cardstock. We use a lot of writing pads and colouring pads at work, and I keep all the backs (grey cardboard) and glue the paper to it. I have a heat press which I use (without the heat! Smiley ) for pressing cards that seem to want to curl up. Works WAAAAY better than books.

I wish you all the best Amaranth!!!!

ARRRRGHHHHH!!!!! Why don't I get updates for this thread?!?!? I started it..... *pouts in the corner*

There's just too much awesome this month - the chicken! My god. And RBR - the kissing card is the best thing I've seen in a million years. So innovative!

@patraw - as far as the german on the two cards - Allegrae's tailor card has random cooking words on it, and the "Orange is the new black" card has a random book page about (I think) a man walking around a garden, enjoying nature.

@bunny's son! Holy cow! Great monster cards!

Those were all great portraits RBR! I do hope the replacement doesn't end up in the ATC black hole! Sad

I hit jackpot today! I had three cards waiting for me in my mailbox  Grin Grin Grin
On the left a baby kappa from Acadian Driftwood for my cryptozooology theme. It's so cute, it looks like he's dancing Smiley
In the middle a great collage fancy animal from Jaywesome. Kitty's face is adorable.
On the right, a rather stern Ice Queen from Amaranth. It has small details in glitter and..nailpolish maybe?. Looks cool whatever it is Smiley

Thanks all for making this a great day!

So many awesome cards. Love the sketch cards this round Acadian - they're wonderful and delicate
Bird boy rocks. I have a terrible fear of birds as well - they are all claws and bones and feathers and very alien.
