15  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Sizing help please . . . on: May 18, 2011 08:20:30 PM
I have never sewn for myself and I just bought the Colette Parfait pattern.  I am super excited, but my measurements are so wacky I don't know what size(s) to cut... What do you all suggest when I measure at a size 2 bust, 8 waist, and 4/6 hips..... sorry if this sounds dumb, but how do i get the bust to fit the waist if I cut a 2 bust and 8 waist?? Or should I cut a 8 bust and do a small bust adjustment?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks!
Alison

I LOVE the shape of the bodice, I really hope one day I'm good enough to draft dresses for myself!
