I love shrinky dinks.  I haven't used them for jewelry, but I've been wanting to.

thanks for the inspiration!

Kingdom hearts!!!  Grin <3 <3

I was thinking of going bigger and more detailed by getting 2 Keyblades (a different one on each inner forearm).  but then I got the armband and the sleeve.  still thinking about criss crossed Keyblades on my back.

my favorite kind of topic  Grin

very first tattoo, a butterfly (how clich):

second, a pentacle (I think you can guess why...):

third, a fairy, fourth, an ankh:

fifth, leopard spots (anyone who is a fan of the Kingdom Hearts series might be able to spot my homage to the game):

sixth, a Greek key armband (homage to the video game God of War and my love of Greek mythology):

seventh, a...thing (homage to the manga/anime Chobits and 2000 [00] is my graduation year from high school):

eighth, a half sleeve representing my favorite season (fall) and an homage to another video game I love called Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly.  plus, the butterflies each have a letter representing my parents and I (I've had more done on this since this picture was taken, but it's just not quite done yet):

3967  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Atashi for Anime Detour on: June 29, 2008 08:13:38 PM
oh I LOVE Atashi!!!  I've been thinking of asking a friend of mine to make me an Atashi-style hat (I have a hat that has bunny ears that she made me, but I want LOOOOOOOOOOONG ears Tongue).  she is so cute!  great job!

side note:
I have a Chobits tattoo!

here's where the idea came from (this is Freya):

here is mine (this would be Chi/Elda's):
3968  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Little Apple Doll Circe Costume on: June 29, 2008 06:31:00 PM
I didn't make the whole costume, but I did make the sleeves, white spandex top (my face was supposed to be white too, but the make-up I bought was crap and wouldn't go on smoothly), the necklace, and I stuck nails in the apple.  Little Apple Dolls are actually children, but I wanted to look like a grown-up version but still look kinda innocent (meaning, free of tattoos.  and I have 2 big ones on my upper arms).

here's the actual doll:

here's me:

here's the apple:

I think what make-up I do have on looks like crap (my b/f forced me to have his sister put eyeliner on me.  he's now my ex for more reasons than that).  Sad
3969  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Easy Breezy Wrap Pants Tutorial on: June 29, 2008 06:17:23 PM
I added a buckle for the little one so she can get them on and off easily to go to the bathroom.  Worn this way, with the back wrapped over the front, she doesn't have to undo the ties for the front half to go.  Just drop down the back and the front part stays out of the way!

thank you so much for a tut.  I gotta go get me some fabric now.   Tongue

and what a cute idea for the kiddies!!!  that would make it a cinch for while they're potty training.  Smiley

now that I see how you wear them, I recognize them as something I own.  my parents had gone to the Virgin Islands for my cousin's wedding and brought back an outfit that has a pair of pants just like these.  I LOVE my pants and now I my have to make more.  thanks for sharing! (and reminding me that I have a pair Tongue)
