3801  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Christmas Ornament Swap (SIGNUPS CLOSED; MAIL BY 11/24) on: November 24, 2008 07:45:32 PM
I am finished Grin Grin I have taken photos and all I have to do is address the envelopes and write notes. Hope my partners like them:)

Can't wait to see.  I hope they don't give as much trouble at the PO as they did me.   I didn't realize that sending outside the US had gotten so complicated.

They never bother me at the P.O. here. They say it's because I usually send parcels as a package - i.e in an envelope. I always offer to write what's in the package on the outside of it but I never have to fill out a customs form.

really?  I've sent both and they ALWAYS make me fill those things out.  they're such a pain!
Yeah, I had to fill one out, and I didn't even get a copy of the darn thing.  She even asked for specifics.  Handmade what?  What kind of edibles?  I think she was just having a bad day.

wow.  now they've never done THAT before...

having a wigjig helps when trying to bend wire.   Wink

and the gold one was no easy task.  it was tough trying to bend 2 pieces of wire at the same time.  that design was my own, but the one for the snowball was a pattern that came with the wigjig.  I thought it kinda looked like a snowflake, so, there it is.   Grin

Oh, thank you so much Krafty_Karasu! Those pics really do them justice. I love the snowball one but I have to admit the yellow one is my fave.  Smiley You're as awesome a photographer as you are a crafter.

awww...thanks.  but tell that to my pictures that have done no justice to some of my favorite things!  they look like what I see when I'm not wearing my glasses!  lol

I am still so, so happy that you like them.   Grin

I do have a picture that I took before sending that I can post:

the white one I have dubbed "Snowball" because, well, that's what it reminds me of.   Grin

well, if you can stop yourself, try remembering them for the next swap.  we all know there will be more.   Wink

I have stuff I still need to make, and little time to do it.  god I hate having to go to work!!!

especially today (off topic).  I can't see the street in front of my house because there is SO much snow.  I hate snow when I have to go out in it.  if I didn't have to go anywhere, I'd be ok with it.  but I have to leave, so I hate it with every fiber of my being.

I am SO happy with my last piece that I want to share it with everyone on Craftster!!!!!!!!

but I can't.  there's a chance that my partner could see it, therefore ruining the surprise.  and that would totally suck.   Sad

but I want to share...and I'm not ready to send!  DAMN!!!

sorry...
