I'll have to keep my eyes open for another Twilight swap.  I missed all the others because I hadn't even been into Twilight yet and when I found out about one, I didn't feel right signing up for it since I was only in the middle of Twilight at the time.  I'm almost done with New Moon (I stayed up WAY too late reading it last night.  Yay Alice!  AND THEY GOT TO EDWARD IN TIME!!! really no surprise though because I know about Bella and Edward since I've spoiled so much for myself), but I can't move onto Eclipse as soon as I'm done.  it's...it's...IT'S ON BACK ORDER TOO!!! Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

if I didn't have to go to work, I'd be downstairs in my little craft area making more Twilight stuff.  I need the practice for when I'm finally able to sign up for a swap.   Wink

Oooh, I love New Moon.  Actually, I even stayed up way late last night rereading Eclipse, so you're not the only one!  Maybe you could try Half.com for Eclipse, it's a place for used or new books.  Nice and cheap and usually there's a few different sellers.

Yeah work puts a crimp in my crafting style.  Smiley  If I could just get them to let me craft at work...hehe.

Eclipse came in finally and they're holding Breaking Dawn too.  but I can't get it until Saturday (we're supposed to get a REALLY bad snow storm starting tonight and ending later tomorrow, so I won't be going anywhere).

yeah, I can't craft at work either.  Sad  we're so dead that I think I should be allowed to.  but no...so I just play video games instead.   Wink

I just keep ruining the Twilight story for myself.   Sad  once again I read how Bella becomes a vampire...and I'm only half way through New Moon.  I got into the series so late.   Cry

BUT, I do love how you incorporated the idea of a new born vampire into a bracelet.  it's so awesome!!!!!!  well, everything is awesome, but that one in particular...wow.  you've inspired me for when it (finally) comes time for me to make my Bella bracelet (stupid back order.  I wonder if Twilight is the reason why all the wolf charms sold out...).  keep up the beautiful work.  I've loved everything I've seen you make.  I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

as always, great job.

your pieces are so beautiful.  I wish I had even half your talent.

can't wait to see what comes next!

oh, and by the way, this is the final piece...what it became AFTER the initial jumbled mess was taken apart and the chains added.   Wink

I can't believe I forgot to take a picture of this!!!

I just got Twilight for Christmas (and am going through withdrawals because I'm done with it and can't find any of the others.  stupid Christmas craze...) and while picking through my beads looking to see what I had for no reason in particular, I found the seed bead (it really is a seed drilled through to make a bead) and some of the other random red beads (that pink looking one really is red) and it dawned on me.  I have seen others use keys in their Twilight pieces and I remembered that I had some key charms.  I threw it all together (in a jumbled mess that left me wanting to change it) and this is what I came up with!  I absolutely LOVE this bookmark!

the only white thing I had laying around was a 9 1/2" x 6" notebook.  I couldn't exactly take a picture of this thing against my red walls or my red carpet.  Tongue

it's a little less than 5" tall.  notice the tiny "blood drop" on the end of the key.  I love that the most.   Grin
3757  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Back to Hogwarts - Sign ups July 30 - Aug 9, Sendouts Sept 10th on: January 08, 2009 11:03:14 PM
Think I can join this swap and organize a Twilight one at the same time?  Huh

oh noes!!!  (noes is a word???)

anyways, now I'm finally into Twilight and I think I missed your swap!!!  we need to start a new one at some time as I am in dire need of Twilight goodness (really anything except Bella's bracelet as I just ordered the stuff to make one).

3758  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: ~*Harry Potter Holiday*~ on: December 30, 2008 09:05:08 PM
I agree it is sad, especially for a holiday swap Cry

I happened to me.  in non-craftster swap, me and a friend of mine never got our holiday package.  Sad  but supposedly mine is now in the mail and my friend is getting some goodies from the organizer.  so, I guess it all works out in the end.   Smiley
