ooooooo...yummy!  I could just eat my computer screen!

but I won't.   Tongue

I think it's NOT normal to have NEVER eaten them.  yup, that's right.  I have never had chocolate chip pancakes.  NEVER.  I feel so deprived.  I think I'm the only person in the world that has never had them.  Tongue

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked
I have been spoiled!!!!!!!!!  my day went from blah to I can't stop smiling!!!  if you couldn't tell, it's because I recieved from drinkdrankdrunk today and everything is freaking AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!  get ready to be amazed.

first we have the box everything came in.  yup, I was in love from the first moment I set eyes on the box.   Tongue

the first thing I found was the snitch stocking with a little note on it and lots of goodies inside.  the note reads "Dobby decided to make you a stocking for this Christmas!  He hand sewed it himself, but thinks its wonkieness adds to it charm."  I love it!  inside I found a Hello Kitty pen, Hello Kitty charm, Hello Kitty winter stickers, my very own wand (woot!!!), 2 sleeping masks one naughty one nice, some Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans (finally!!!  I've been needing some Harry Potter candy!) and a Harry Potter keychain.

next we have a pair of spell bags.  the note reads "These are spell bags, in case the wand that chose you feels picky.  You can just [throw] a bag at the no good hoodlem!"  so loverly.   Cheesy

gotta love it.  got to freaking love it!!!  a Harry Potter doll.  OMG.  "This is a hand sewn Harry Potter black apple doll.  He has no mouth, but that shouldn't stop him from saving all mankind."  this may NEVER leave my sight.  I may have slipped back into my childhood, back to when I had a favorite toy that went with me everywhere...

I love this.  I think I've found my new bag.  YAY!  "A couple of red headed twins thought you might like this bag...It'll help get into some well deserved trouble."  boy were they right.  I've been wanting something that had to do with the Marauder's Map.  she answered my unvoiced prayers.   Grin

and lastly, the best freaking thing EVER.  I mean...EVER!!!

my very own BLACK Monster Book of Monsters.  "Hagrid has left you the last copy of The Monster Book of Monsters.  It's become tame in its old age, so you won't have to worry about losing all your fingers."  as you can see, she took the time to hollow out the inside of the book and even included my very own phoenix quill.

I absolutely LOVE my stuff.  after I was done opening everything, I was laughing so much I was nearly in tears.  I couldn't believe what I was finding in that box.  it's all amazing and the only thing that could have made me happier is if Daniel had been in the box too.   Tongue  oh well.  I'll just cuddle with my Harry doll.   Wink

thank you again, drinkdrankdrunk.  you are amazing.   Grin

The same person also has one for adding a UV light to the tip.  LUMOS!!

They are really cool.  They have other neat projects on there website and a gallery of finished wands made by various people.

I bookmarked each and every one of those sites.  thank you for sharing!!!

and this has been a great swap!  so many wonderful things!!!  I'm totally jealous of that dragon of course.   Wink

thank you everyone.   Grin

it really was hard to part with that bird, but I'll just have to make myself one.  Wink

I had originally just put marbles all around the frame, but then, after not knowing what to do with the phoenix, I realized that I could add it to the frame.  but that meant I had to pop off some marbles.  you can still see a little of the original glue, but really only when you take a picture of it.   Tongue

not sure which is cuter...a mini dachshund in a tiny sweater or...no.  there's nothing cuter.  this is too, too much.  it makes me squee with joy.  I just want to cuddle this little guy and kiss his little face.   Kiss  pass that on to him.   Cheesy

I keep saying that I like dragons, which I do, but for the next swap, I'm adding Snifflers.  I just found out about them while reading Goblet of Fire.  they sound like my kind of magical creature; black, fluffy, cuddly and sniffs out buried treasure.  I'm all for that.   Wink

*cough*Nifflers*cough*  Cool

yeah I got to thinking about that after a bit.  I forgot there's no "s".  I was thinking about what they do I guess.   Roll Eyes
3758  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Gryffindor/Phoenix picture frame on: December 08, 2008 09:08:05 PM
so this is the final product.  I made the phoenix from polyclay and posted it here in the correct topic since the phoenix was finished and made from clay.  since the finished piece is something you'd use to decorate a room, it's here.   Smiley

so, what do you think?
3759  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: ~*Harry Potter Holiday*~ on: December 08, 2008 08:46:55 PM
wow.  everything looks so great!  I WANT MY PACKAGE!!!   Tongue

and I see that so many of you like my Phoenix stuff.  to be honest, Erin had listed 3 magical creatures that she likes...but I only know what a phoenix is.  I couldn't find anything on any of the other creatures!  plus, for some reason, as soon as I signed up for the swap, the idea for the jewelry just popped into my head and I just HAD to make that set!  so when I found out she likes phoenixes, I flipped!  especially since it also gave me a chance to finally make that polyclay phoenix.
