I've heard of a couple folks asking around local clockmakers' shops for extra / scrap parts, which might be worth a try...

that is an idea.  now, to find some of those shops around here...

online yellow pages, here I come!

thank you so much!

I'd been wanting to make a cherry branch-like necklace and this challenge gave me a great excuse to finally do it.  Smiley

JEALOUS!

I still haven't been able to get any clock/watch parts myself.  I get so jealous every time I see steampunk stuff on here.

these do look great by the way.   Smiley

Ebay. I got a huge lot of miscellaneous clock hands about a year ago, and I'm still working through them...

tried it.  refuse to pay anywhere near $20 for a tiny vial.  I can never find the reasonable "buy it now" items and by the time the end of bidding comes, they're in the neighborhood of $20.  that's why I haven't got myself any yet.   Sad

I probably stared at that reference image (and the back view as well as many other Kratos pics)

I just happened to have the front image uploaded on photobucket because of the keychain I had made.  I would have posted the front/back view version...but I was lazy.  :p

here's a link though for those that want to see.   Smiley

OMG I MUST HAVE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kratos is my absolute favorite Sony character and I was psyched to see them give him a cute makeover in Little Big Planet.  I even had a friend of mine make me a keychain with SB Kratos to put my work keys on (I work at GameStop so it was a must have).  it was even because of the original game that I wound up with a Greek key tattoo.   Grin

I love this so much!

*hits THIS ROCKS*

oh, and for reference:

I'm sure you have at least a slight idea of what I've crafted going by the title alone.   Wink

shouldn't be hard to forget: a black horse and a cherry tree...kinda.  my original pattern had the horse standing in front of the tree's trunk, but my brown is called dark chocolate and the shade was too close to the black that it would have all just created one dark mess.  so I just used the tree branches.

this is a combination of the Little Mermaid wall hanging I did a while back and an idea I had for a necklace I needed to make to go with a pair of earrings I already made.

I loved this song from the minute I heard it.  no real meaning, I just loved the beat and the sound.

Yep i can pretty much say that 'that' scene confirmed that i never ever ever want children. Especially not vampire children, but that was kinda a given anyway.

so alike in so many ways we are.   Grin

it's bad enough that things slightly similar to that actually happen in real life.  I mean, there may be cutting which can lead to a lot of blood.  there can be a lot of pain (abnormal pain.  I understand that childbirth can be painful, but there are cases of horrid pain).  but no one's spine has ever broken...that I know of...*gag*  ok.  getting nauseous again.

I love these by the way.   Grin

I adore these little forks as well....I personally snagged a few from my SIL...BUT I know she got hers off Oriental Trading....here is the link to the product page...I'm going to check Hobby Lobby later; I'll let you know if I spy any there.

OMG!  Oriental Trading!  I forgot about them!  I haven't even received a catalog from them in a while  Sad  thanks!!!
