I made these Mary Engelbreit accent pillows yesterday.  Saw the fabric and thought it was super cute.  The pillows are 2-sided print, have invisible-style zippers, and the covers are removable for easy washing.

I made this Hello Kitty robe today.  It fits a 12-18 month old.  It was a fun project, and relatively simple.

I personally don't like dressing up dogs either, but my daughter's terrier is always cold so she likes it. Also, believe it or not, my niece's pitbull loves to wear his hoodie too. He's always cold too.

So, even though I don't like it, they do

We have a 15 year old pitbull who likes to wear a sweater in the Winter too.  Poor old man gets cold easily.  Georgie (the dog in the pictures) has his own insulation though, as you can see.  lol

That is ADORABLE! And I don't even like dressing up dogs.

I actually don't dress up my dogs either (other than making them model it for me, lol).  I thought the little shirts would be a fun project though.   

I haven't been on here in forever.  We recently bought a house, so I've been occupied with that - but I finally broke out the sewing machine this week!  I found a pattern for a dog hoodie, and decided to try it and change each one up a bit.  I had my bulldog Georgie model them for your amusement.  lol  











I've only done size Medium so far (18-35 lbs), but I think I'm going to make some Small and X-Small too.

It's funny because I have the opposite issue...  I'll leave a project feeling pretty good about it.  Later I'll look at the piece and wonder what I was thinking!     Thanks for the feedback!

I actually did these paintings a couple of years ago.  I came across these pictures when I was cleaning out my e-mail this week.

I was playing around with paint... definitely nothing too impressive here, but I had a good time.    I need to try my hand at it again - maybe once I finish school and have time for such craftiness.
