Reading a great book on Celtic / Welsh goddesses

Celtic goddess : great queen or demon witch? / Claire French

'She draws on the Welsh Mabinogion myths to trace the decline of the Great Queen of early British origins into the demonised witch/fairy of the Christian era. For millennia the tribes of Britain had worshipped the Triple Goddess: Virgin, Mother and Crone. She was the Earth and the Earth was sacred.'

Received this great parcel from lilyella this morning.
It's the first time she's participated in a swap on Craftster and she did herself proud.
I LOVED the parcel.

First, groups shot

Here's what it consisted of:
beautiful wicker lined gathering basket
clever string holder
pretty gardening journal
embroidered lavender sachet
beautiful pear fabric gardening apron
3 packets of lavender seeds
and two chew bones for my dogs - Amy and Spike!

Here are the pics:

What a great parcel - it will all be well used!

Have to post these two pics too, of Amy enjoying her yellow bone and Spike the crumbs of his red one (he's a messy eater)

Thanks so much - woof woof from the dogs  Grin
