this is my first time entering a challenge.  i love tiny things and when i saw that there was a challenge to make something tiny, i knew it was the perfect challenge for me! i have wanted to try to make really small amirgurumi's for awhile but haven't gotten around to trying it. i think gnomes are awesome and figured he'd be easy enough to do for my first tiny ami. here he is at 1 1/8".

i made this as a gift for a big invader zim fan. he's no bigger than 6" from his feet to the top of his ears (4" not including the ears). i think he's so cute (much cuter in person). i love him so much so it's a good thing the one receiving it lives with me! :oD he's hand swen using fleece for almost all of him and felt for the ears, tongue and zipper.

i was asked to make a cake for my friends daughters first birthday. she wanted it to be Winnie the Pooh themed and to be a chocolate cake (so it would be messy!) i know that not everyone likes chocolate cake, so i made some vanilla cupcakes with color specks inside. i used buttercream icing on the cake and cupcakes. the pooh faces and the bee are fondant and the butterflies and the letters are chocolate. i am just starting to self learn how to decorate so i'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

i made this little guy (about 10 inches tall) for the mario swap for my partner who loves luigi. i didn't use a pattern, i just made him up as i went. i didn't write down the pattern , but i did take a lot of photo's so hopefully i can make another one like this but of other characters.  i used doll arm parts so that his arms could move.  i think he's so cute and am very proud of him. this is the second amigurumi type doll i have made without a pattern. my partner really seemed to like him. here are a few more photos.

i made this for a friends b-day to go with a nightmare before xmas bag i put together. just a really basic wallet and change purse. i used the same fabric for the inside of the wallets zippered pocket as in the change purse. its also the same fabric i used on the pocket inside the bag i made. i used it to tie all the items together. and a mirror i covered with a jack photo. nothing fancy.

i seem to have issues with the sewing machine and am still learning how to better sew. everytime i use it i have to rip out the stitches at least once and redo. i can usually pick up crafts pretty quickly but for some reason i can't really machine sew. its such a simple task too.  if anyone has any suggestions they would be appreciated. i found a great book on sewing at a thrift store so hopefully i will start getting better at it. enough rambelling, here are a few photo's.

i am just starting to pick up needle felting. i needed to come up with a gift for a friend of the family. she is in love with puffins and has a large collection of puffin stuff. i thought i should give this new craft a shot and try to make a puffin. this is my third completed needle felting project and i think it turned out well. i glued him to a rock to look like he's on a cliff.

i made this Nightmare Before Christmas bag for my friend for her birthday. i used a black canvas bag i got at walmart. i ripped it all apart and changed the fabric that was on the insides. it used to be all black on the inside too. i forgot to take the before photo. i embroidered two pictures on, one on the front, and one on the inside. i'm new to embroidery so i used a simple stitch. i like how it turned out.

i made this awhile ago for a friends birthday, and i am just getting around to posting. my friends a huge fan of music and really likes Kurt Cobain so i decided to try making him a little Kurt Cobain ami. Kurt's crocheted and i made the guitar out of felt. i think he's cute, but the eyes are a little scary. if i was to make he again i would use polymer clay for the eyes instead.
