Ahhh...you are so sweet!! I'm just so happy that you like them!! They are made from Shrinky Dink material. I use the kind that is printed, not hand drawn.

I received these amazing inchies from VJP. I think I will make them into fridge magnets. I luuuuuuuuv them.

Oh and should I remake and send to VJP and Fuzzyunicorn? They should have gotten there by now and I sent them from work and we get undeliverable mail returned (usually because my handwriting is atrocious) but I haven't gotten them back.

No need to resend!! I found them!! They were in an envelope from a business and I assumed it was junk mail. My trash (recyceing) had not been picked up since I tossed them. So, all is well!

I love all of the inchies I have received so far. They are just fabulous and I can't wait to share them with my granddaughter. I made and decorated a special metal board and will adhere a small magnet to each of the inchies so I can mount them on the board for her. Then this will be one of her special items to be used for her Autism Therapy.  So, thank you to everyone and just know that your inchies will help a sweet little girl learn ...

Ugh...I'm using a new kind of shrinky dink paper. So, after days of gathering the right backgrounds for my inchies I printed all 96 and cut them out. However, during the baking process I discovered that this paper shrinks more than the other one and all of the inchies were just about an 1/8 inch too small. Ugh...so tonight I resized all of them and will be redoing all of them this weekend.   

I use shrinky paper and then choose appropriate art for the base and then embellish with charms, gems, words, stickers, the list is endless..... I finish it off with UTEE for a clear hard finish. I also use mirror, wood, glass, and plastic just for a different effect. This helps to keep the creative juices flowing.

I have never used cardstock/paper for an inchie base.   

Yippee!! I made it in. I love, love, love making inchies.   

Question: is it okay to add a jumpring with a charm or to add embelishments that go beyond the 1x1 edge? I know this is really a personal choice issue and have seen it go both ways depending on the host. So, I just want to be sure my inchies are in compliance for this swap. I love making a couple that have "extras" that give it flavor.   )

After many years of being on the wrong site, I'm sooooo glad I found Craftster, THE right site. This site feels like a family, not just a website. Thank you for giving me a crafty home with family!!

FYI...I make, my inchies out of lots of things...including shrinky dink material, glass, wood....plastic...h mmm...just about anything I can get to a 1x1 size.

I only see 11 current swaps. Am I missing something? Should I look some place different?

For my very 1st swap I received this beautiful original piece of art from litebrite1919. The colors are more yellow than the orange you see here (I'm not a great photographer). It will be hanging in my craft room just as soon as I finish the post. 

Thank you Kelly for putting so much work into this beautiful piece. I love the story behind it and can't wait to share it with my daughter-in-law.
