I like it a lot, belt included! The great thing about it is you can use any color or print of belt and still look fantastic.

Hmm... I think I might want to try leggings. I'll refer back to this when I attempt them. Thank you for the info. As for making silver ones, I might just go ahead and by those instead of making them.

Love love love the silver leggings! Did you design and sew those yourself, or is the public lucky enough to have access to them also. Great designs by the way. If you did make the leggings, were they difficult, do you need a pattern? I've had them in my mind for a long time, but haven't even attempted pants yet.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Do you know what website this was on? on: July 04, 2007 01:06:56 PM
I'm pretty sure it's listed here, however i'm not sure where it's located. This website had a list of what could be reconstructed out of what. Ex: Dress- a childs dress and adult top,  Pants-childs dress, childs skirt, womens skirt, ...and it went on to list many more types of clothes and what could be made from them. Has anyone else seen this website and would be able to direct me back to it? Thank you for any info anyone has

Beautiful! I'm loving The peacock's the best. Building a costume around those could be grand Grin

Very beautiful!
8  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: The Bloody Countess from E-town or My Renaissance Project this year on: May 16, 2007 01:32:23 PM
I'm in complete awe. I would love to make something like this one day. Very beautiful. How long did it take you to get to this level;  is it a matter of patience or do you need to be very skilled in sewing?
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: La Bourgeoise. Skirt + Corset [picture obese] on: May 12, 2007 02:25:21 PM
You look fantastic! I would actually wear that out. To wear out I would make the skirt more understated; maybe perhaps make another  more eye catching (like the purple) for a different type of mood I was in. And yes I do know it's for a play. I like it regardless Smiley
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Leather and Lace - A Victorian Corset on: May 11, 2007 01:32:04 PM
Very, very nice. I love the lace. Corset's were my main focus when i first started sewing. I go by Elegantlywaisted on myspace. I'm seeing so many more of them on here that it's inspiring. You mentioned the way they feel when they're on, I love that feeling also. So making lots of mock ups is important?
