omg! this is phenominal and sooooooooo much easier than the way ive been doing it! hahaha. trust me do NOT try to use modpodge for this is takes weeks (litterally) to get dry! thanks for the notes on your process.

i finished this and blogged about it ages ago but somehow it never made it over here so i thought id share it now :0) better late than never i suppose huh?

basically the skirt is a tube gathered to a bodice. the chimese was made from this pattern

and as i have said before i relaly like this chemise pattern except its waaaaaay too short. it needs to be about 3 feet longer so include that in your yardage if you want to make it.
i made the bodice starting with this generator. its fully boned with wide cable ties. they worked great! ill never pay for boning again. the dress is made of cotton twill. i like the way it hangs and its not too hot either even though its a fairly heavy weight fabric.

oh my gosh. i think those are super cute and i really really wish you'd do a tutorial. if you have the time someday. how do they stay on the shoe and not spin around all sideways when you are walkin?
