i'm 21, and i say that she'll absolutely love it <3 i would. it has that very nice flowy bottom and great colours ("black isn't a colour!") - the fabric is divine. love the little cherries, and i think anyone would.
and i love the idea of a body stocking for the dress model. mine has such awkward adjust-thingys that my fabrics get stuck on them, so i think i should make a body stocking for my model also! thanks for the idea

never even crossed my mind. and that is what we all love about craftster and other forums alike.
Thank you!! The body stocking was just $1 a yard stretchy material from Walmart. I looked for some material with a lot of horizontal give, but not vertical so it would stretch when I widened the dress form to other sizes but wouldn't sag lengthwise. I also made sure it was material with a tight stretchy weave that had a little weight to it for pinning. I draped it over the dress form, pinned tightly around the form and cut beyond the pins to a 5/8 seam allowance. I serged the seams, tried it on the form again to make any adjustments, and then serged a hem. I really like it because now the material hangs neatly on the form and I can pin pattern pieces or fabric to the body stocking to hold it in place while I check for sizing or placement. I had seen covers on other peoples forms on the internet, but didn't know where they bought them or if they made them, so just thought I would wing it!
