I have done it both ways but when you attach the tulle at the bottom it doesn't really look like an under skirt, it depends on the look u want, for a circle skirt i would cut the tulle just like the skirt. because it u cut it in rectangles it will be to bulky underneath but thats depends on the overall effect u want.

To but bias tape on the ends just start with sliding the tulle in between the bias tape i think u want double fold bias tape and doing  stitch closer to the top u have to go slow to make sure ur encasing the tulle all the way.

I have this pattern as well bought it mostly to use it as a shirt pattern  I wasn't so pleased with the bias binding after i got done but it was quick assembly and quick to sew

Those are super cute I have the argyle print that u used in ur first dress I absolutely adored it when I saw it at Joann's.

The top was a little boys body suit from walmart and the pants were the garanamials brand at walmart I did cut the sleeve and do a lettuce edge with my serger.

I saw this really cute Easter Fabric at Hobby Lobby. My intial thought was that I live in Kansas and it's usually cold when the kids are easter egg hunting So I made this cute lil set perfect for easter egg huntin on a breezy day.

I embellished one leg of the pants with some button and ric rac.

thanks to another fellow craftster I am a YCMT junkie too! I just bought the strappy sundress on wed and made it yesterday and that will be a good summer play dress I am excited to make a few more!
