I just got my portobello pixie patterns in the mail last Saturday and couldn't wait to give one of the dresses a shot, This one is the "gracie" dress It's basically a 2 tier dress with an bodice. The patterns do run small as most people say I made this dress one size bigger than my daughters true size.
I will say that I am a little disappointed in the patterns so much money but really when it comes down to it they are so simple it makes me upset that i chose to pay the price for the convenience of not having to think!

OKay so that halter top I originally did in red and white got rave reviews so I made a similiar set in Yellow and white! this has become my fave spring/summer look! I have one more combo I am going to try and then I think I will have pleased myself!

I got these fabrics in the quilting section at Joanns they are the calico prints that were on sale last week!

I beg my youngest daughter model all the time but she always has an attitude, Finally got her to coperate and man I am glad she did she's so darn cute!
Anyways thought I would share my latest springtime project! She couldn't wait to get it on!
I love the style of this lil top so much I just went to joann's and spent about $50 to make a few more sets!
The top is inspired by several differect YCMT patterns and the capris are carla C ruffled capri's but i only did one ruffle!

I made this Dress yesterday for my daughter's b-day party the picture doesn't do the dress justice!

I saw this really cute Easter Fabric at Hobby Lobby. My intial thought was that I live in Kansas and it's usually cold when the kids are easter egg hunting So I made this cute lil set perfect for easter egg huntin on a breezy day.

I embellished one leg of the pants with some button and ric rac.

I already have easter outfits on the mind so I made this wrap skirt again in pastel colors.

So I went to Joann's for their most recent sale, and came across this darling Ladybug print, I usually stay away from stuff like,  so I was excited to find some polka dots to coordinate with it and came up with this little number the entire outfit is made from e-books from YCMT I added buttons for embellishment they are daisys I large white one and a small red one n the middle.

It came out so cute that I plan on making another set in some easter fabric!

I needed to whip something up quick for a baby shower for a friend that was having her first girl.

I did a couple of baby onesie's with coordinating bloomers this was fun as it was a simple project! I am thinking of making another set soon.
I also did a bib and matching burp cloth the back of the burp cloth is a terry cloth material.
I also dyed the onesie brown using RIT fabric dye and then washed it in baby detergent.

Bought some new patterns from YCMT and decided to try them out both are twirl style skirts the first one is the "Edith Twirl Skirt" and the second one is The Tess Rouched and Ruffled Skirt (only I didn't do the rouching!)
These are great patterns for anyone to make super easy instructions!

I really like how these turned out can't wait till spring to make more for the warmer weather!

My daughters are very hard on the knees of their jeans and usually that's the only thing wrong with them! I just hate to throw away a pair of jeans that still fit so I have began embellishing them anyway I can to make them usable.

The first pair I went really funky with because I had alot of scraps in pink and black!


Here is the second Pair of jeans I used some left over Alexander Henry fabric haven't decided what i am going to do for a shirt though.
