Definitely get well soon!

I finally finished the scarf for my future father-in-law, but I can't find the photos I took of it! This is the first draft that I made of it and it's going to a friend instead, the new one is done with a much thicker wool and I'm a lot happier with it- I'll post the photos once I take some more.

I am now working on a scarf/shawl for my future mother-in-law and some cross stitch work for pals.

Oh yeah, I just realized I saw the photo of your mom helping you with yours and assumed it was the pattern I was using for my top. So great to see yours turned out so well- you look great in it!

I love your dress so far Kaiser!

Synne: it's an oyster coloured stiff satin. I haven't worked with a ton of satin so it makes me a little nervous, but that's part of why I wanted to get started really early.

Banga: they do look a lot alike!
I am using this top:

And this bottom:

Is that what you used??

Thanks! I am using the top of one Vogue pattern and the bottom of another, which is easier than I was expecting it to be.

This muslin does have a train, but it is coming off in the next revision because it is just too much fabric to pay attention to while walking. I love the idea of it, but felt like I was just getting tangled up in it!

I still have 9.5 months, but I finished the first muslin for my dress last night!

I need to make some slight revisions to the pattern and this is obviously not the best showing since it is just resting on a shopping cart, but here it is:
