3  My new old house renovated....HUUUGE PIC AMOUNT in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by seworganised on: March 04, 2009 04:42:31 AM
well my husband and i bought this old house a couple of weeks ago. As i dont do things in halves, i decided that we would renvate it as much as we can in the whole 5 days he had at home  Tongue (he works away and comes home once a month).

so we got sanding, primeing, painting- from the ceilings to the ornate cornices; the walls; skirtings, doors and frames; and the original jarrah floorboards. we worked way past midnight every night while he was here, then i moved in the day he flew out. was so crazy and hectic, but the house is now comfortable and liveable- for now. there are still a few things to do....

the temporary afters will be in the next post...

4  my new (well old) cupboard... in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by seworganised on: February 10, 2009 01:07:11 AM
well, sorry but i forgot the *before* photos...i always do, just think of the uglist wooden 40 years+ cupboards you can imagine....

my aunty gave them to me as I am moving into a very old house (with no walk-in robes of course) so these will do until husband flys in from work and decides he NEEDS to build them from scratch...

i sanded, painted a gazzilion layers, then appliqued the ikeas wall decal with extra modge podge for good measure.
