1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Badge/ID leash swap? on: January 25, 2005 10:46:05 AM
I'd bet many of us have to wear IDs or badge cards at our workplaces.  Yet the little lanyards they give you to hang them on your neck are always SO dull and ugly.  Would anyone else be interested in a swap of badge leashes?  They could be woven, crocheted, beaded, or whatever, as long as they go around your neck and have a place to clip a badge on at the bottom.

I might be willing to make this my first swap as organizer, but not until March at least. I thought I'd go ahead and throw out the idea, though. Anyone else find this interesting?

2  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Mark As Read - bookmark? on: January 18, 2005 06:08:50 PM

I've only been a Craftrix since October, and I love it, but even in the short time I've been around I've seen such huge growth in the content.  My frustration is that I can't go through everything fast enough anymore!  If I can't log in at least once a day and spend time sorting through new forum messages, it quickly gets too big to ever catch up.  Yet there's no way for me to weed out what I've gone through and set a bookmark so that I can start where I left off.  All I can do is mark-as-read everything and start over, and I just know I'm missing good things.

Is there some way I'm missing to "mark as read" certain threads and leave others with the unread status, so that they come up again later when I have time to read again?  When I've used the button, it zaps everything currently marked as unread!  Even something simpler, such as being able to use the MAR button to just zap the page of threads I'm currently reading would be extremely useful.

Thanks, wonderful craft goddesses!

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Do you think I'm MADE of MONEY??? on: January 13, 2005 12:12:08 PM
No, but my wallet is!  Check out this excellent tutorial:

And just think, if you suddenly find yourself broke in an emergency, you can
simply disassemble and spend your wallet!
