So is that the two outer tines bent forward and the middle one bent back for stability?
Quite like it!

Hello! Okay, after about 2 years of lurking the challenge entries board I'm finally entering! Eeep!

This is my Entry:

A shadowbox/whimsy collection box/Curio Box - Something I've been meaning to do for years now.

Sadly I haven't got any photos of the box at the beginning, I did find it in a drawer in my craft room (where it's been living for about a year!) But Forgot to take some photos of it in position Sad

I collect things. I keep things. Small oddities from my life. But they mount and mount and I've been wanting to do something with them for ages now. Very heavily inspired by this post on craftster: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=339283.0 Lovely.

So this challenge was a perfect opportunity to turn these items:

Into This!

Thanks for looking! Cheesy

Thanks both!

And that's your blog! Its amazing! If it were a book I would say I read it cover to cover in a night, but it's a blog, so... First to last post in a night?

Just completely brilliant! (and like I said, excellent excuse to use some bits from 'the Box')

Thanks again

Howdy all, hope you're all well on this fine spring/summer's day. The weather at the moment in Great Britain is fabulous and I'm sure as heck ready for Summer now!

Thought I'd share with you lovely lot my latest creations, some awesome necklaces for Easter! I hope you enjoy them.

If you're ever bored of an afternoon and fancy making something using things from 'that' box(drawer/cupboard/tin/etc) full of things that you promise you'll use one day, then I recommend http://ragstocouture.com/ for inspiration. I wasted a lovely evening going over the projects, taking each one in and one in particular caught my eye:

http://ragstocouture.com/chain-necklace-diy-using-scrap-chains/

Cause for some reason, I just don't throw broken/unwanted necklace chain away. I just bag them up and slip them away in my box, promising that I'll do something with them, one day. Finally that day has come!

Very pleased with how the set came together, took a couple of tries to get the style right, but it all came together quite nicely.

Now, fabric chain necklaces, they sound quite fun to make!
Hope you have a happy Tuesday!
