21  Re: Adult Swim Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by applesweet on: September 17, 2009 02:34:04 PM
I got my package in a few days ago I guess, but just got it today because for whatever reason I'm the only person who checks the mail in this house. :/

So cool! A little Canti tote, a hand banana magnet, some shrinky dinks of Tim and Eric, Sea Lab, Home Movies and Futurama and the best of all, a Brock Samson plush. Sooo cool! Thanks so much!

22  Fighting Evil by Moonlight in Needlework: Completed Projects by applesweet on: August 19, 2009 12:52:05 PM
So this is my 4th project now, just something fun to take up my free time in the last few weeks. I used to love Sailor Moon when I was a preteen and have been feeling a little nostalgic so I did a little chibi Sailor Moon. She is based off of this drawing. All of the other inner senshi and Chibi Moon are also done and I thought it would be cute to do them as well but maybe some other time. I don't have any idea what I even want to do with Usagi, I don't know what I would do with all six of the girls. Maybe someone else will do them?  Wink

I'm not 100% satisfied with how she turned out, and if I could do it again there would be a lot of changes, but over all I think she looks pretty cute.

I think this part of her turned out best; the top of the hair, that is.

Uniform detail. Definitely had to lose some of the finer points of her costume.

Thanks for looking!!

23  Some Sea Creatures in Needlework: Completed Projects by applesweet on: August 10, 2009 02:07:28 PM
Hello ladies and dudes. Just wanted to show off a couple of things I've made. My second and third projects, actually. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=285304.msg3231513#msg3231513 <- This was my first project. I am currently making a second one exactly like it for a friend. It's slow going though. Anywho...

This is a little squid I made for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. It didn't take long and I was really pleased with how the legs turned out. I was afraid they would look messy and jumbled. Will definitely be doing more squids. He was really fun.

Sorry this is a bit blurry! I made this guy last night while watching Pulp Fiction. Just something to keep my hands occupied, but I am really happy with how he came out. Now if only I knew what to do with him...

Hullo everyone! This is my first post here at Craftster and my first needlepoint project. I'm pretty pleased with it.

I've been trying all sorts of different crafts for my whole entire life, crocheting, knitting, sewing..and I liked them all but I LOVED working on this. I did it all in 3 days and actually stayed home on New Years Eve because I just felt so cozy and happy creating a dildo while I watched TV.
Obviously there are some rookie mistakes here and there, but over all I'm pleased with my work. I want to frame it and give it away as a gift. It's kind of the perfect kitchen piece in my humble opinion.
I'm psyched to start a new project but I'm just not sure what.
Anyway, thanks for looking!
