14  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Magnificent New Office Chair...Kinda!!! on: April 27, 2009 05:31:49 AM
I just used a cream and brown pony print very similar to this as an accent fabric in a "vintage cowgirl pinup" themed bathroom.  I wish my fabric was furry, that would hae been awesone.

Fur makes everything just a little bit more awesome!  Cheesy

17  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Magnificent New Office Chair...Kinda!!! on: April 26, 2009 07:45:33 PM
So I was checking out this post from dink http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=267279.0 and decided my chair needed some love too!  It was an awful textured black that looked nasty no matter how much I cleaned it.  I scored some awesome furry cow print fabric with a wavy pattern to it about a year ago and thought it would be perfect!  Only one injury and it wasn't even from the staple gun!  Let me know what you think!   Smiley
(My kitty, Maury, thinks I did this for him.  He likes to lay there when I'm not working...or sometimes when I am.)

I LOVE THIS!  Gir is my very favorite!  I especially like that you made the pig to go with him!  So...since I am completely incompetent when it comes to crochet (believe me I've tried!), what does it take to be your best friend?  lol
