21  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / black and white Storage Box on: June 14, 2008 04:22:15 AM
I needed another box to put stuff in. I have tons of "stuff" Wink. So I used an old shoe carton and wrapped it in a special gift paper I bought last year in Scotland. I hope you like it!

Thank you for having a look!
22  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Amigurumi Goat Sachiko on: June 14, 2008 01:03:31 AM
This is one of my first Amigurumis. It's a goat and I called it Sachiko Smiley
I found the pattern in a special Amigurumi book which is probably not available in the US and/or the UK

23  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Recycled Glass Pencil Case on: June 14, 2008 12:59:51 AM
I found a special shaped olive jar in our glass waste and decided to give it a place on my desk.
At first i removed the lid, the labels in hot water and cleaned the jar. Then i used an off white acryl paint to paint the whole jar. When it had dryed I cut roses out of some old napkins I've kept in my crafting closet and glued them on the white painted jar with a special napkin glue. I guess you could use every glue that gets clear when it dries, but I haven't tried anything else yet. When the napkin layer was dry I applied a sealing coat and again, I let it dry. And that's it Wink I had a new pencil holder!

24  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Three of my... :/ help me! how do you call them in English?! on: June 14, 2008 12:45:34 AM
So here are three of my... Hm. In Germany we say "Fensterbild" which would be "window picture" if you translated it, but I don't think that is the right word for it. I would be glad to know how you call them. The funny thing is, the word is in none of my dictionaries and not even in the internet dictionaries I've checked. So yah, I'd appreciate it, if someone tells me what to call them.
Back to topic: I always liked to work with paper and all sorts of colored card and so I made a spring, a summer and a "Fensterbild"(please fill in correct word Grin) which I think can't be allocated to one of the seasons.

Tulips in red. Made of white card and magenta transparent paper.

Wild strawberries made of different colored card.

And the cat at the window. Made from different colored card and white transparent paper.

I used patterns which I found in some of my activity books.
Sorry for the dark pictures, but the weather is crappy and my cell phone doesn't have a good flash.
Anyway, thanks for having a look =)

hey hey dear craftsters!
this is my first post and i thought i could include everything i crocheted so far.
the first pics here show a panda bear i crocheted for a friend of mine as a gift because i stayed at his house during the easter vacations. i did have a pattern for it, but i think i've somehow lost the link to it :/ i'm sorry!

this is the orca whale i crocheted for my boyfriend. he was jealous because he didn't get the panda... so i had to make something special for him! it wasn't easy to find something but as he likes orcas a lot i crocheted one. i didn't have a pattern but it worked out alright. for the white spots and the belly i sewed felt to it.

for this years mothers day i crocheted a strawberry cream tart. i used an essential oil to give it a vanilla coconut scent because i think i'd like the creamfilling to taste like that Wink i used a pattern from:http://www.normalynn.info/morefreepatterns.html and changed it a bit.
