1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Sand dollars on: August 31, 2012 08:55:03 AM
Thanks guys!

She doesn't want to bleach them because she likes the dark parts around the flower design (if that makes sense). But I'm going to try to convince her to at least coat them to make them stronger.

A wind chime would be really cute I'm just not sure how well it would hold up outside. Although I suppose she wouldn't actually have to hang it outside...

My sister in law just got back from her honeymoon and they found tons of sand dollars on the beaches. What could she do with 37 sand dollars?

You could make a pinhole camera. There's lots of tutorials around to make one, you just need to make sure the container is light tight.

Still here! I received from mlookyloo1 about a week ago, I'm sorry it took me so long to post these.

I love that they have nothing to do with each other! Random is exactly what I was going for! Thanks again mlookyloo1!

I received my pieces from mandymo13! I don't have a particular theme for my puzzle, I asked my partners to do whatever they wanted to.

The city of Rothenberg, Germany. I would love to go to Germany too!

The four seasons. I love all the seasons! I don't know if I could pick a favorite! lol

Thank you so much mandymo13!

I received from Kris Smith!

I don't have a theme, I want my puzzle to be random. I gave some ideas though like your favorite quote and your favorite place which are what she decided to do. Smiley

Thanks again, they're awesome!

9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Un-tree on: December 25, 2011 05:15:04 PM
So it was maybe the 18th or so and my mom and I were talking about our laziness because we didn't have a tree up yet. We came to the conclusion that it wouldn't be a huge deal if we just didn't put one up at all.

Then I was surfing around Craftster and saw LittleGirl's post on her invisible tree. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=399491.0  I thought it was a fabulous idea and knew that when I moved out this would be my "tree" because it would be too weird for my parents although I proposed the idea to them anyway. Like I thought, they didn't seem to excited about the idea.

Then a few days ago I was out with a friend and when I came home my parents had crafted an un-tree Christmas tree for me!

They made it out of a tomato cage, lights, and garland.

Merry Christmas!  Smiley

That's crazy! I don't think I'd have enough patience for something so big but you guys did an amazing job!

What is Zero made out of? Fabric over a frame? And aren't you afraid it's going to rain and the presents will get soppy? lol, I'm just curious.
