so, if its to be in a gallery, are people going to be allowed to touch it? and if they are, it really should be allowed to withstand a good amount of wear, as some people aren't as careful as one would think. But if you made thi interactive peice for a gallery where its not to be touched, isnt that confounding the meaning of the peice?
i also really like the view where the sides are peeled back, i thought of someone in open heart surgery. maybe sound would be good, a blur between a heartbeat and a clock ticking or something. But thats just my opnion. but it really depends on what you're trying to say and whether or not it gets across at least some of what you want it to.
i do like the milti-medianess of it, and applaud you on the moving parts. is it a real working clock? not that the cogs should work, but it would be neat if the hands moved.
