1  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Red Valentino Remake on: February 08, 2011 01:01:51 PM
I was looking around online just wasting some time and I came across a Red Valentino tulle bow t shirt.  While I love the concept I wasn't in love with the grey color or the cost so I decided to make my own.  I went with a more spring/summer color scheme.

My Version

Original

Thank you for looking =D
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Keyboard Picture Frame on: October 08, 2010 03:17:09 PM
For my husbands birthday I took a picture frame painted it black and took an old keyboard and attached the keys to it.  You might also notice our two cats in birthday hats.

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Ocean Scarf on: August 25, 2009 10:01:57 AM
So like many of you I love Anthropologie and I saw a scarf that was so cute this last winter.  But at 120 dollars there is just no way I can do that.  So here is my vision of the scarf.  It makes me think of a cold day at the beach color wise.  The scarf is 90" long and a little over 10" wide.  The flowers are  yarn and vintage lace.  I thought about adding more but I kind of like the less is more thing.  It will definitely be keeping me warm this winter.

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Black Messenger bag on: August 17, 2009 06:27:32 PM
I finally got around to make a new messenger bag.  I am really happy with the way it turned out.

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / even monkeys have to sleep on: May 21, 2009 03:54:11 PM
So to say I am excited about these boxer shorts would be an understatement.  They are my first piece of clothing that I have sewn completely on my own.

Thank you for looking. Cheesy

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Springtime Cuff on: March 24, 2009 04:25:57 PM
So now I think I am obessed with making cuffs.  They are so much fun and you can add as much or as little as you want to them.

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / From pants come a wrist cuff on: March 21, 2009 07:53:51 PM
I had a pair of cute pants but I just never got around to wearing them so I transformed them into wrist cuffs (I will be making more from the pair of pants I cut up).

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Pink Messenger Bag on: December 31, 2008 12:02:37 PM
I got my first first sewing machine for Christmas.  The bag is definitely not perfect.  Some parts are kind of poorly sewn but being its the first time I have sewn anything in 14 years and on my own I am pretty happy.

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Hair clips and more on: June 13, 2008 02:39:02 PM
So I started thinking that I really wanted some hair clips because I have been wearing them a lot lately.  So I went to walmart bought the clips then I went to the craft store and walked around trying to figure out what I wanted to do.  I was walking around so much that I ended up in the scrapbook section.  Grant you I am not into it but I found these paper holders and just had to use them.  Anyways long story short scrapbook holders, hair clips and crazy glue make these.  There are many more then I want I had but here are some of them.

My second project which was really easy outside of find the charms was making a necklace.  I had been looking around online at Sanrio.  I noticed that hello kitty necklaces where now being made with diamonds and were so expensive.  I found these charms in claire's and from the pics I saw it looks very similar to the one's they have.
