You're romper is adorable!

and I love the wallpaper (or it stamped?) behind you.

Might I suggest getting a sewing book? I have the Reader's Digest complete sewing book (from the 70's I think) and it has chapters on cutting, marking, reading patterns, and anything else you want to do. I've been sewing for years (admittedly sporadically) and still look at the book constantly. It's very helpful Smiley

I knew exactly what sweater this was from the thumbnail. It looks wonderfully like the Crochet Today original. You have motivated me to finish my CT sweater (from the jan/feb issue).
I clicked 'this rocks', cuz it does!

thanks! my mom's winter coat has a leopard print collar and cuffs. I thought the colors would complement it nicely.
54  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Hat and Scarf (yay! I can post pics now!) on: January 12, 2010 12:52:29 PM
I started making this for my mom's birthday. But I couldn't really get into it.
maybe I was burnt out from all the Christmas crochet I did.
Anyway, it turned into a Happy 2 weeks after your birthday present.

I used a Joann's brand yarn called 'Sensations'. It's acrylic, but nice and soft.
The hat is a simple beanie pattern from the Bernat website, I think.
The scarf is worked in 2 rows single crochet, 2 rows V-stitch pattern.
very simple. I made it up myself Grin

It finally turned out very nice and very cozy.
Which is necessary in Michigan right now.

Thanks for looking
