1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Re-creation of a James Beard Recipe on: November 11, 2009 04:19:56 AM
Looks yummy!  What exactly is it?

Oh yea!  Sorry forgot to include that - it's porkchops and bacon cooked in suerkraut for a couple hours and then topped with hot dogs and boiled potatoes on the side.  And in the pitcher is beer with a good head.
2  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re-creation of a James Beard Recipe on: November 10, 2009 07:33:03 PM
I found this recipe in a little recipe box I bought at an estate sale.  Once I decided to make the dinner I had to do a matching photo shoot!  It's pretty clear, but the first pic is the recipe I followed and the second is my re-creation.  Hope you enjoy.

That skirt is simply beautiful and would be perfect to wear on any number of occasions - I would love to see someone go dancing in it!

There are always gonna be dream stealers.  Stinks but for some reason they tend to be those closest to us - don't let them get you down.

Thank you for your compliments! I was really happy with how this came out.  I wasn't too sure when I was creating it but it turned out better than I expected.  I'm glad others like it too!

Thanks for all your great comments!

I love this project because it finishes so quickly.  It's great to complete a project no matter how small.
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Necklace - brass and steel rings on: July 04, 2008 08:46:08 PM
Please take a look at this new piece -

I made this necklace out of some brass rings and steel jumprings I had around.

The spacing between the brass rings is varied to make the necklace a little more interesting and in some cases I used two jump rings together.

Let me know what you think - - -
