I love your poem! What a tremendous talent you have! (I'm studying to be an English teacher, I have to gush all over you. I love when teens write poetry that is decidedly not dreary. And your rhyming skills! I want students like you!)

I would buy a Lorax from you if you have an Etsy. He's ridiculously awesome. I am seriously going to consider voting for you, your crafts are all delightful!

I would have given you an A for that ABC book, and I'm a pretty tough grader. I'm bookmarking this for project ideas.  Grin

Your dress is gorgeous! I love the idea of a mystery dinner party, I might have to suggest it to my friends.

Your friend's mustache made me laugh out loud right as my professor was talking about mentally retarded students.   Undecided That doesn't stop it from being brilliant.  Grin

I'd love to see an action shot, it probably looks amazing on. I love how original it looks.

I love the steampunk look, it really suits you! And I love that vest passionately.

Love it!  I have been wanting to do this to a pair of heels I thrifted awhile back, but keep forgetting.

I am planning to try Outdoor Mod Podge to seal them.  Here is the link for info about it:

It is supposed to protect whatever you coat with it from the elements, so I figure it's the best bet Smiley

Oh, that sounds like a good idea! I'll definitely give it a try.

So, I just completed one half of my current project- decoupaged Spidey shoes!

I was going to wait until my best friend finished reading my run of Civil War, but I was impatient and ran to my local comic shop, where they have an enormous room full of back order comics. I then spent an hour going through them for Spider-man issues, with the help of two ten-year-olds who kept tossing every Spidey they didn't like my way- which means they handed me mushy issues... which worked fine for me.  Grin I then hit up the thrift shop and snagged a pair of plain black shoes for two dollars. And here is the result-

And, here's the other shoe, still naked. I'll post pictures when it's done.

Any good ideas on how to seal these shoes? I live in Florida, so water is inevitable.

EDIT

So, I finished! I did grab some Outdoor Mod Podge, and I'm actually going to wear them for the first time today. Here's some shots of the other shoe completed:

(You can't read it because of my very lame camera, but The quote is the same as the post title.)
