Thanks guys!!
That is awesome! I like different things that we use in our lives, it makes everything more fun. Good job!
Yes life is def more fun with...well fun things! When my friend wore her's to chicago a ton of people stopped her so I'm sure it made some peoples days to see an elephant scarf Smiley
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Elephant Scarf #2! Smaller and Purple this time! on: February 10, 2010 06:05:42 PM
Quite some time ago I made an elephant scarf for my bff (first thing I ever knit! I think I may have posted it on here a long time ago). Sooo her sister was basically about to steal hers and I decided to make a deal, if she modeled some of my hats I would make her an elephant scarf. But now I want to keep it for myself (look for a third one in the near future!). Anyway on to the pics!

Hidden Pocket!!!

C&C appreciated!

great work, beautiful dresses Smiley

i was just wondering what shape the fabric is for the last dress's skirt part, i've been meaning to try the side slouch in a couple of skirts but not quite sure how the pattern looks beforehand. if you have a rogh description i'd be really thankful Smiley

xoxo
It was part of a dress that hung really low, I kept the length but just folded and sewed it up near the middle, make sense? I have no idea how to explain it other than that :/

I particularly like the second one, with the red flowers. But I really like your photographs, and the striking lighting from below.
Thank you soo much! That makes me feel super good about my pics. I model and photograph and it's not the easiest thing to do, this "photoshoot" was an experiment and I think it went rather well Smiley

oh and that is one of the cutest babies ever in your avatar pic.
Thank you  Smiley he's a lot bigger now but still just as cute, gets away with a lot because of it  Cheesy
very pretty.
i have a sudden urge to cuddle in bed with hot chocolate.  Wink
ohhh that sounds awesome...especially with this cowl! Makes me want to do the same thing now that you mention it!
My son has the same monkey as the one in your avatar pic. It's his favorite and has had it since he was born, it's always funny seeing other people with them  Cheesy

all your project look so good!
i like the first one mostly (probably because of that wonderful blue/turquoise?? fabric you used, that maches so perfectly with grey one), but nevertheless all other project are also so cool.

besides, i really admire the ability of recycling clothes. my projects are based in almost 100% of cases on making something out of untouched fabric.
but when i see project like yours, it encourages me to try out something new.

thanks for being such an inspiration!!!  Wink

I love having a base piece to work with and changing it up a bit to give it a new life Smiley
It's a lot of fun, I usually put it on the dress form and chop away from there!  You can find some awesome prints too  Wink
