Are there any craft shows or craft events coming up any time soon in the Phoenix area? What about craft sales? Is there any website or forum or anything like that that would have that info?

Also! If you sell your items at different events or festivals, can you tell me which ones? I've done Glendale Giltters before, but that's it.

As a reference point, I sell ladies & girls headbands, pins & hair accessories.

I need some help figuring out how to make these fabric flowers.

It looks like maybe long pieces of fabric are sewn into tubes(?) and then....sewn to form the flower? But how do they look flat and a bit messy? I'm at a complete loss. ANY help is appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Does anybody know of a website, book or from personal experience, how to make feather flower pins? I've found a book on Ebay and bought it, but the feather flowers it has in it aren't really what I'm looking for. I also need to know how to curl and do other things with feathers. I've been working with feathers for a few years now, but I want to expand my knowledge and skill level! Any help would be fabulous!

The below is what I'd like to make!

So! There is a group of girls (6 of us) that have all grown up together, gone to school together and been in each other's weddings. We're all early to mid 20's. Well...one of us is getting married and moving across the country. So, we decided to have a party with just us "Sister's" (as we call our little group). Now...I need some ideas. We've decided we're going to bring old pictures to look through, play old kiddie board games and just talk. But, the thing is, we want to play some sort of game and possibly do some sort of "crafty" thing. I thought about getting aprons that we can all write on and decorate for each other. I also want to decorate my house some what. It'll have to be inside, as it's currently 110 and in the middle of the monsoon here in Phoenix. SO! HELP!

Oh! And did I tell you that we're doing the party THIS Friday? As in 2 days to get it all together?!

I make flower pins and embellish purses with flowers and feathers. I've been using hot glue to adhere everything, however, the hot glue comes apart sometimes. It especially doesn't stick to plastic.

Does anybody have a suggestion for a good glue? I like that hot glue doesn't seep into fabric and dries quickly. Any other glue out there that does something similar??
