I need some help figuring out how to make these fabric flowers.

It looks like maybe long pieces of fabric are sewn into tubes(?) and then....sewn to form the flower? But how do they look flat and a bit messy? I'm at a complete loss. ANY help is appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Does anybody know of a website, book or from personal experience, how to make feather flower pins? I've found a book on Ebay and bought it, but the feather flowers it has in it aren't really what I'm looking for. I also need to know how to curl and do other things with feathers. I've been working with feathers for a few years now, but I want to expand my knowledge and skill level! Any help would be fabulous!

We've used out bridesmaid dressess several time for "old fashioned" events the past couple years. Honestly...I cannot even begin to imagine what if anything, crafty I could do with this material and these colors...



Yes, those were REALLY bridesmaid dresses. Mustard yellow and funky fuchsia. We wore them complete with parasols. Labor Day weekend...in Florida. After the wedding we went to the beach and got quite a few stares and lots of people wondering if we were doing a photo shoot on the beach.

We even won a contest for the most hideous bridesmaid dresses...

I just got the Kodak 7440. It ROCKS! It's got so many different settings and all kinds of things you can do with it. But, even with all the bells and whistles, it's easy to use! GREAT picture quality too!

Before I bought it, I compared several different kinds and found that this one suited my needs the best. I got it for $325 after taxes.
