Wow, what a great transformation! You're right in that the original was too bright... the subtle coffee dye made a huge improvement and looks great with that vest you made. I especially loved that you took the time to swap the buttons and add some embroidery. I didn't think it'd be that noticeable on the final garment but it looks lovely.  Cheesy

I am curious how big you made it? I would like to make one for my friend but I have no clue on the diminsions it would need to be.

Hmm... I would estimate it to be 11" long and 6" wide. I didn't think to take the exact measurements as I was just eyeing it as I went. And like I said, my sis said it was a bit big for just the stethoscope so you could probably make it a tad smaller if you wanted. Post pictures or a link to the post when you're finished - I'd love to see what you come up with!  Cheesy

My sister is in her first year of nursing and I guess she haphazardly throws her stethoscope into her backpack when she's not using it... worried about it getting damaged she asked me to make her a bag/pouch for it. So I decided to make it as a Christmas gift. I came across some Amy Butler fabric in the local fabric store and had to purchase it for just this project. I hope she likes it and I hope the dimensions are correct... I shall soon find out. She's back from visiting her husband in the UK today so I'll probably see her tomorrow.  Cheesy
