31  2 of my new dolls in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by faeriegirl on: May 03, 2009 05:35:29 PM
Smiley i havent been around for a while but i have 2 dolls to share. they are completeley hand sewn.

I would love to know what you think Smiley

i dont know if anyone remembers lilly the mermaid i made for my goddaughter , she stayed with me for a while as she was experiencing some alopecia (i think missy was brushing her hair too much LOL) anyway while she was here she had a baby ! her name is jemaly or jemjem

and miss jaz has a new dolly too called "mouna"
her hair is made from recycled banana silk and though her dress is very smocky and you cant see her body is alot more detailed then my other dolls Smiley

37  Grouch Couch in CHALLENGE 28 ENTRIES by faeriegirl on: June 05, 2008 02:40:13 AM
... ok so its not a couch but it sounds cool  Grin

I am new here and was looking through this challenge feeling impressed and inspired and wishing i had a chair or a working car so i could go to the tip shop to buy one but no such luch untill today i was rummaging through the shed of our rental house looking for a potty and i find a sad chair !
i also found a once plush muppet skin coat i bought from an op shop about a year ago that had a run in with a bonfire at a fancy dress party and had a melted sleeve.
the photo quality isnt so good as i had to use my video cam my still camera is broken but you get the general idea

here is the chair

here is the unpicked coat

the finished chair

with feature pocket

and one with the munchkin (one of my works in progress )
