4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Prayer/ Bible Scripture quilt block swap? (done before?) on: October 16, 2014 11:49:45 AM
Hello all, I haven't forgotten about this, but I had to put it on the back burner due to my health issues. (I have lupus, & cystic fibrosis, among other things, and both have been flaring up).
So, if someone else wants, and has time, to organize, please do so. I know this will be a fun swap once it takes off! Smiley
once I am better, I plan to get back into the swapping game, just having to hold off for the time being.

5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Poppet vs Ami Gallery on: October 16, 2014 11:43:37 AM
After a long wait to receive due to illness (on my part), and camera problems, I now am so pleased to introduce the poppet and goodies that I received!
Here is (named by my kiddo who totally adores her!) Maddie Sewbringas Hatter!

Isnt she AMAZING! I am such a lucky gal and having to remind myself that I have to share with my kiddo! haha
The photo doesn't do her justice, really, she is utterly amazing. Her little fingers are individual and are able to be positioned to hold her sweet needle and scissors! Her dress is totally gibbous inspired with details of measuring tape, and she came with her own pin cushion, thread spool and needles and loads of other goodies! (she knew my kiddo is really into geography and collects magnets and post cards from the places we have swapped!) Oh and her hair feels soooo good & her eyes have the neatest little colored flecks in them that were difficult to photograph but take my word, so pretty!

Kiddo has deemed the fabric for her growing stash and now has a new sewing buddy to accompany her on her efforts as she learns how to work my machine.
I wish all could have seen her eyes at the chocolate whales! she was so tickled as she had just completed making a diorama and report paper for her science project on salt water habitats! (featured the otter- I will have to post a pic of that too cause she did an awesome job!)
Lol, also notice one of the candy packages is already open, as she just couldn't wait till after I took the photos to try them out! haha Cheesy
Puamelia, I have decided that you are a poppet wizard Grin ...I am in awe of your talent and so thankful to have been paired with such an amazing, and kind partner!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
6  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Poppet vs Amigurumi Swap Round 2 Signups July 13 - July 27; Sendouts Aug 31 on: September 25, 2014 11:55:04 AM
Sent today. Sorry for the hold up. She kept trying to sew herself while I was away at school and work. Her needle wasn't very sharp. Hope you like it I'mSewSilly!

I know we (Kiddo and I) will adore her! Thanks so much Puamelia! Cant wait to see her! Smiley

oh my love all the Elsa and Anna goodies!
Amazing job with detail! I can totally see her twirling with her hands up making her ice castle and singing "Let it Go!" Cheesy

My kiddo doesn't need to see this cause she will be asking if I can make one as she is going to be Elsa for Halloween this year haha  Grin
She may decide she needs a side kick! lol

Thanks for the nice comments gals!

Puamelia, I am so glad you like your sea dragon! Smiley I had such a difficult time deciding upon what to make cause you had numerous great inspirational  ideas, so I ended up wrapping several into one! She is the only sea dragon I have ever made, and since I don't use patterns, I don't know if I could make her again! haha Cheesy
I hope your exams go wonderfully Tuesday!  Grin

what a great ami Victorian gal! Such wonderful details!

I cant wait to see the gallery blossom with more awesomeness this week! Grin
