123  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / cross stitch heart card on: June 02, 2008 12:33:04 PM
i made this for my husband last year for valentines day. i always make him a card or something, rather than going out and buying something. cause i know he'll appreciate it more.

the frame around the picture is cross stitched, and under that layer is some paper i made. came across it too when i was going through some things. i made that paper when i was still in high school. i miss being in mrs. stanfords art class. she's the best.

125  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / crochet bear on: June 02, 2008 12:11:17 PM
this was my first attempt at making a bear. i've only been crocheting for a few months, and i really like it. i've made a few hats and scarfs, but i wanted to try something different. his face is kinda crooked, but i like it ok. i gave it to my little brother. he really likes bears. no kind in particular, just all of them in general.

126  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / cross stitch rainbow on: June 02, 2008 12:03:34 PM
i made this a few years ago, and i came across it recently.  i haven't been into cross stitching lately, but i used to go to the library every week and check out books with nifty patters in them. this was one of them.  i used it as a patch on a bag i had. it took me a while to make it. i think i worked on it for a few days in between school. i'm thinking of trying to make a bigger version to frame and hang in mika's room. Smiley

129  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / emo bear on: June 02, 2008 11:46:25 AM
my daughter is 2 years old and she loves the care bears. but i can't seem to find care bear shirts or any kind of clothes anywhere. except socks.lol. so i've been embroidering shirts for her myself.  i saw a picture online of the emo bear. i know hes not a real care bear, but i thought his little converse feet were really cute, so i put him on a shirt.  heres the link to it.
