That´s ace news - didn´t think it would be that easy.

Thanks for the replies Smiley

The bunnies are only about 4-5cm tall and the three legged heart thingy is about 12-13cm tall. I live the dinky ones best too I think. But maybe itś just because they´re a pleasing, compact shape.
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Surplace Silver on: June 02, 2008 07:16:25 AM
Hello,

I´ve been clearing out a very old craft box and have come across a half finshed silver necklace project from a long time ago. I no longer have the tools to finish the project and want to get rid of the silver.

How do I go about this? Does it have some value. Do I offer it to a local silver craftser - is there a going rate for it?

Any ideas are super appreciated.

Ta Smiley
4  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Aloha from the North East of Scotland on: June 01, 2008 07:09:27 AM
Aloha!

I´ve been looking at craftser for a while, wallowing in the knowledge of their being other people as obsessed with making totes out of scraps of second hand fabrics and monsters out of old jumpers as I am. Finally I´ve joined!

I mostly sew, felt and glue things but I´m also into electronics and garage type tinkering, although I do much less of this sort of thing. Not through lack of enthusiasm, more resources.

At the moment I´ve just started my first crafting blog which I hope to become a collection of the things I make as well as an index of a lot of the resources I use online and the books I refer to. In time I also hope to sell some of my things through Etsy or similar. Not quite organised for that yet.

I´ve just returned to Scotland having been away for a while and it´s the first time for a while I´ve been in a position to embrace crafting again  and it feels ace Smiley

Well, nice little monologue there - hope this works out.

See you soon,

e.

Ace tutorial - really clear, and better than any patters I´ve looked at on instructables!

Well done Smiley
7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / My Feltys on: June 01, 2008 06:44:59 AM
Just wanted to share some of my felties. I´ve been a bit obsessed with the bunny felty shape but the three legged love monster marks a departure from that. His little heart is a handy pocket for little heart sized things (like paper clips).

Not up to my rookie 10 post yet - so just the links Smiley Let me know what you think, I´d love to get feedback!

8  U.K. AND IRELAND / SCOTLAND / Re: Aberdeen-ish, anyone? on: June 01, 2008 06:33:23 AM
Hello Smiley

I´m from Aberdeenshire originally, but have been away a while and just come back. I have to confess to leaving a massive stockpile of scraps behind, so I haven´t had to buy fabric for a while, but itś all about the Remnant Kings if I do in Aberdeen. Or I buy second hand clothes and scrap them up.

At the moment I´m putting together an etsy store (not lauched yet) and have kicked off my blog of the things I make. Not much on there yet. Does anyone put together or particpate in an craft shows in Aberdeen. There are one or two ones in Glasgow that i really like (miso funky etc.) and wondered if there was an equivalent in Aberdeen. If not is anyone interested in starting one? Where does anyone retail their crafts in Aberdeen?

I mostly sew, knit and felt things but I also like electronics and things. Someone mentioned a crafty cup of coffee a wee while ago, would anyone be up for it?

But yeah, all a bit serious Smiley

Ta,

Emily
