2  Mother's Day Gift......Butterfly Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by kuddlekubs on: March 27, 2012 04:44:44 AM
Hello! I've been having fun using different patterns and making purses! I need to do something with them....I have about 10 right now! I am addicted!

My mother is a butterfly fanatic and I already made her one butterfly purse. She needed a new one! I used the Lazy Girl pattern called Candice and love how it turned out! You would 'normally' use a contrast fabric on the front pocket but I used the same, the more butterflies, the happier my mother is!

I don't know if you can tell in the picture of the inside, but I used a decorative stitch on my sewing/embroidery machine in black on the top of each hot pink pocket for a punch! This purse stands on its own, has a zip top, and enough pockets to hold anything you would need!

Thanks for letting me share!

4  Stepping Out Bag in Crochet: Completed Projects by kuddlekubs on: February 19, 2012 02:41:54 PM
From nutsaboutknitting on etsy.....I make a ton of totes/purses so crave something that looks unique. This did so made it up for my mother for mother's day! Will line it with some awesome black/blue fabric, pockets and a snap and will add a plain black fabric strap. Hard to let this one go....may have to make myself one!

Thanks for looking!

5  Bambi Messenger Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by kuddlekubs on: February 18, 2012 11:36:30 AM
Hi! I made this for my DD to use on our mini vaca this June to a state park where we will be staying at an inn. It is a big boy! Multiple outside pockets as well as inside. I used some fabric on hand for the lining while I bought the bambi and green fabric at HL last week. So cute! I used the Lizzie bag from this seller: etsy.com/shop/sidquilts. Changed just a few things: used fusible fleece for the main parts of the outside, the heavy duty interfacing for the very bottom panel, did not do an adjustable strap and rounded the flap corners slightly. I really think this turned out well and DD loves it so I'm a hit! Thanks for looking!

7  My Messenger Bag - So Proud! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by kuddlekubs on: February 09, 2012 05:10:22 AM
Well I used napkitten's pattern for her messenger bag and it was the most complicated purse pattern I've ever done......but I did it! Her instructions were clear, I took my time and used some fabric I had for probably two years! I love it and it stands on its own! Thanks for looking!

9  Floating Flowers Bag in Crochet: Completed Projects by kuddlekubs on: March 25, 2011 06:42:36 AM

Hi! I call this bag Floating Flowers bag because of the flower beads I crocheted into it! The design is my own but is basically a round bottomed drawstring bag that has handles. I usually felt these but not everyone can tolerate wool so I made one in acrylic.

Thanks for looking!

10  Zippy Hobo Bag - Zipper Fear Conquered! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by kuddlekubs on: March 25, 2011 04:48:09 AM
I bought a pattern from Sidquilts on etsy because I have a fear of zipper top purse patterns but I so wanted to make one! Hers looked intriguing so I pulled out some of my batik and went to town! Only thing I did differently was use fusible fleece for the outside pieces to make the bag even sturdier! I LOVE IT!

Thanks for looking!
