11  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Just a quick question.................. on: November 18, 2008 04:12:25 AM
I was sewing on my machine yesterday when suddenly it got jammed :-( a bit of fabric got sucked into the hole where the bobbin thread comes through and i can't get it out..........now my question is, do i do a little machine surgery myself? by unscrewing a few bits and getting the fabric out (probably breaking a needle in the precess) or should i just take it to the shop? (I have no money it'll take ages to get it back). andyway thatnks for any help. its a toyota R2000 series btw

13  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / I was wondering if anybody could help me with........ on: June 06, 2008 02:49:32 AM
Currently I'm handsewing a patchwork thing. (whatever i decide it will become depends on how big it grows) This is what i have so far:

http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/thumbs/06062008301.jpg

I was wondering if anybody knew how i could make it less bumpy, i dunno if you can see from the picture, but when the corners meet it tends to stick up its causing it to look tent like.

I would really appriciate any suggestions :-) and sorry about the bad photo quality on only really have a phone camera.
