91  Fimo/Sculpy Nummies!!! (pic heavy) in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by LunaKitten on: August 29, 2008 03:38:44 PM
Here's my last load of little food charms. Sorry for some of the sideways and blurry pics, my camera's still busted and I was using my cell phone. All of them are hand sculpted. I would love to hear what you think, and I am always up for constructive crits and ideas! (Oh and all of them have rings to attach to charms or stitch markers, even if they are hidden in the pics)

Cupcake with a strawberry on top:

Cupcake with sprinkles:

Poison Cupcake: (idea from the neopets evil faerie gifts from her quests)

Lemon Pie:

Stick Lolli:

Lolli Trio:

Strawberry Tart:

Poison Pie (also inspired by the Evil Faerie on neopets):

Hope you enjoyed!

93  Raven Myth Shrinky Dink pendant in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by LunaKitten on: August 22, 2008 05:16:18 PM
My Mom is a teacher at one of our local highschools. She teaches English, Spanish, and this year she has her first mythology course. One of her favorites to teach is the myth of the Raven from the Pacific Northwest Native Americans. So, I interpreted the image of the Raven from the book she has: Raven A Trickster Tale from the Pacific Northwest. I freehand sketched it on the shrinkydink page, used sharpies to color him, and when he was done baking I used embossing powder and put a few layers of the clear on him to seal him. Mom just has to find a chain for him. I photoed him in the window so that you can see the colors better. I would love feedback, I had alot of fun making him, and Mom loved him.

94  Re: The Candy/Sweets Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by LunaKitten on: August 18, 2008 10:22:06 AM
So, without further ado... Here's the awesome package I got from Happy_Hooker!!!

Here's everything all layed out! I love the black crocheted hat! It fits great (tho I look a wreck today, so you'll have to wait for an action shot. She also gave me the rest of the cupcake fabric from the pouch, it's so cute!):

Here's the two cute pouches and the iron on sparkly cupcake, which I am SO putting on my apron that I am making out of an old pair of jeans!!:

Here's the adorable crocheted cakes! My cat has already stolen the little purple one, and is happily running up and down the stairs chasing it!:

Here's an action shot of the great Cupcake hat and matching scarf, modeled by my niece who has now had it on for an hour, and refuses to give it back! (and please excuse the mess of toys in the background, I have a nine month old, and a set of almost 3 year old twins in the house lol):

96  Painted Star shirt (Image HEAVY) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by LunaKitten on: July 14, 2008 05:01:25 PM
My sister saw the other shirt that I made for myself and begged to have one to go to camp with. So, like mine that I made I trimmed the neckline to become an 80's type off the shoulder shirt, trimmed the sleeves to cap length and trimmed about and inch and a half off the bottom. I then stretched the fabric by the cuts to make them roll over.  Unfortunatley, she's tiny, and the medium shirt swam on her. So I cut it up the back and tied it together, and it ended up fitting awesomely. I used puffy paints and a brush and my finger for all of the work on the front of the shirt. When it was done I added glitter paint to hers. (She's a sparkely type of girl)

97  Bleached Bleach Hollow Mask T-shirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by LunaKitten on: July 14, 2008 04:55:12 PM
For this shirt, I free hand sketched out a hollow mask inspired by Ichigo's hollow mask from Bleach onto a stencil. I then used a 50/50 bleach water mix to spray on this. I went back in with the clorox bleach pen to bring out some details.

98  80's style off the shoulder with stars shirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by LunaKitten on: July 11, 2008 10:27:00 AM
This was once a normal black tshirt. I cut the sleeves off to cap length, cut the neck line to be off the shoulder, and trimmed some off of the bottom. Then I stretched the material where I had cut it, so that it would roll up and have that cute 80's look to it.  After that, the rest of it I painted with puffy paint using a brush and my fingers. I tried to recreate a doodle that I had done in one of my sketch books. Sorry for the crappy pics, camera is out, so I'm using my phone. Enjoy!

(and excuse the spots on the mirror, its really not dirty, it has paint splatters lol)

99  Bleached Robot Tshirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by LunaKitten on: July 11, 2008 07:38:03 AM
This is one of my first bleached tshirts. It was done freehand from a sketch that I had done in my sketchbook. I used a clorox bleach pen. I really liked the control that the bleach pen lended. I can't wait to do more!

100  My first ventures into the land of shrinky dinks. gnome, cherries, and koi in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by LunaKitten on: July 10, 2008 07:55:43 PM
This is my first time with shrinky dinks since I was little.  They were drawn freehand with a pencil, and then colored and shaded using sharpies. I intend to make the koi a fridge magnet, the gnome a sun catcher. The cherries were for a necklace, but it cracked by the whole. Sorry for the crappy pictures, my digital camera is out of order, so these were taken with my phone. I would love some feedback and advice with working with this media! I had a LOT of fun doing these!
