1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / Toddler shorts out of shirt sleeves on: May 29, 2010 04:58:36 AM
Hi,

I thought I saw a post about making shorts out of leftover shirt sleeves.  I have sleeves from a polo shirt that I would like to make into shorts for my daughter.  I used the body of the shirt for a dress and would like matching shorts for underneath and to wear by themselves.

If anyone can help me find the tutorial or give suggestions on how to make the shorts it would be greatly appreciated.  I am a novice sewer and haven't made shorts before.

Thanks
Nicole

Great idea - did you use a pattern?  if so can you share the name of the pattern or where you got it.  This is just what I am looking for my soon to be bundle of joy.

I love the skirt sytle and use of colours. Did you use a pattern or design these yourself?

I love love love the bandana dress.  Do you have any instruction you can share on how to make it?  I think it would make a great baby shower gift.

Thanks

Great dress! Can you tell me what pattern you used for this. Most of the infinity dresses I have found seem to have an open back and as a plus size girl, that isn't an option for me.

Thanks

7  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / Bandana Bib on: March 09, 2009 12:18:57 PM
I am trying to make a bandana bib for my friend's shower, but just doing a triangle doesn't give it the nice bunching.  Can anyone recommend a pattern?

Thank You
Nicole
