1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / ISO big cactus pattern on: January 27, 2009 06:52:13 AM
My little brother wants me to crochet him a cactus.

Not a "little wussy one" (his words), but a "manly" one.

A big saguaro-type one. Like six feet tall.

Any idea where I can even start? I shudder to think how much fiberfill will be required for this.
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / NeedleNoodles sushi: anyone else try this yet? on: January 11, 2009 10:42:36 AM
I'm embarking on it, and must admit I find it a bit daunting ... any words of wisdom?

FWIW, I've been crocheting for a year, year and a half, something like that. I'm no novice, but definitely no expert.
