You know, sometimes less is more. In this case I think that's totally true.

I've always been fascinated by this American/British (?) Christmas stocking tradition. Here in Sweden we don't do that at all. Ever since I, as a little girl, happened across the fenomenon watching a Disney Christmas special on TV I wanted one so badly, I couldn't stop begging for one. So maybe that's the reason why my parents put me up for adoption (heh)!  Now I got a store-bought stocking, but it isn't half as cute as yours. Mine look kinda... um... tacky. Boring tacky that is.

You did a great job, it's very pretty! Nice choice colors, perfect material... Sweet and simple (not plain)!

Oh-oh-oh I got an idea here: Why not make a map that actually leads to where the great treasure (a.k.a the Pirate Kit) lies buried?! You could write down riddle-y pirate-y hints, or directions like "23 giant steps east", "5 cartwheels north" (and include a compass?)  .
Those directions would be easy to personalize and if it's an adult treasure hunt (I can see that happen) you could throw in a couple of mildly embarrassing/dare-you elements, like "ask (person) in (store/café/whatever) for further instructions". Um... I could obviously go on and on and on and on and on about this...  But I won't.  

And don't you forget that bottle of Rum.

PS decibel Hello Kitty toasters are awesome, I got mine off the Sanrio website for 60 bucks but the other day I got one for a friend at Target for only 20!

Oh bummer, that's just the problem, we don't have Target over here (across the Atlantic from you guys)... Sad story. I'm aiming for the Sanrio www version too, and I'm so looking forward to become a proud owner of a pretty pink Hello Kitty toaster, but I don't look forward to paying a zillion for it to actually arrive here. Shipping and taxes are almost as expensive as the toaster itself, I think!

It's all worth it though. justagirl - you know what I'm talking about, right?  Does your toaster leave little Kitty faces on every piece of bread too? That's just dreamy!
