Beautiful! Cheesy

I love the roses (they look very "modern folk-ish" - and that is a compliment) and the colors. Preeeeetty!

Yea, maybe it do need something else on the roof? Maybe... In that case: something small and simple in a contrasting color, or yellow? Some letters? Another insect? Still another rose but in different colors? Um... That was some good advice, right? Wink

Are they gifts? [Lucky recipient!]

Dear jeebus! You took tie-dye to a whole different level! Shocked

Your dress looks so... shimmery and delicate [there's the fairy connection I guess]. Is it the material or the paint, or both? *swoon* I love the flowers. And the colors. And the design.

It is such a gorgeous piece of clothing! You must be very proud of it (I sure hope so). Are you using it for something special?

You just won my "parent of the day" award (that I just founded)! Smiley Haha.

I love the canvases, they are so great, so detailed! It's easy to tell you put a lot of work into them. They look very professional...

I'm toying with the idea to do something quite like this, but for inside use. I've been thinking: Store, Hospital, Theatre (where you could add the red curtains thing), Spaceship, Bakery, Hair Salon, Castle, Restaurant... How did I ever NOT think of a pirate ship? That's brilliant.

Great work! Wink

I'm in awe! And I'll be following this too...

Damn we dont celebrate Halloween in Sweden - That's at least one legitimate reason to move abroad. Wink

Nicely done! He looks so comfy...

I love how the jacket makes his paws look like muppet feet...
Too cute!
26  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Under the Sea Embroidery on: September 08, 2007 04:18:20 AM
They are absolutely stunning! Your embroidery skills are awesome, really. Hm... I think they deserve exposure - as much as possible (I know I would be showing them off to e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e if I'd made them)! Shocked

I myself like to incorporate prettyness into useful things. So if you don't want to frame them or make a wall quilt out of them, maybe...

Borders on towels (bath or dish)? On a bag? Luxurious pot holders? I don't know - but instinctively I'd go for the bath towel idea: four matching blue or white fluffy towels with a pretty blue, sea-themed embroidered border - that's class! They would so make a perfect gift.

Again, your embroidery is gorgeous. Have you been practicing for a long time? (Please say yes!) Wink

Wow, that is so pretty!

I love how you combined all those patterns and all the colors, and still made it not look busy - everything matches perfectly! That sure takes skill. It is a great dress for a little girl - it's cute AND it got attitude! No pastels, and no pinks in particular - very refreshing! It sure looks like a great twirler! I want one too. Wink

How cute your daughter (?) is! And she looks so happy about her dress... Awww!

Again: Good job.
