Cross stitching to end the patriarchy. I love it!

Wow, thanks for all the great feedback!

I do need to invest in an actual camera because that camera phone isn't quite cutting it. Maybe next payday? But it does make me feel good to know that experienced stitchers like my work.

Haha! Great lettering. I love it!

What are you going to do with it? or where will you put it? Smiley

I'm going to frame it and put it on my wall. For some reason that phrase never ceases to amuse me even though it can get a little over played. I still laugh every time.

I'm quite proud of it and I can't wait to try another. What do you think?

7  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Starbucks sleeves on: September 19, 2008 08:26:21 AM
Oh if only my soul were a bit more avant gard  Wink

I really like the angel idea as well as the bangles idea. I've seen a ton of knitted bracelets patterns that require an actual plastic bangle for them to wrap around. I could make my own super eco-friendly bracelets! Thanks!

Hey guys, I work at Starbucks and was wondering if you guys had any ideas of what I could do with old sleeves. Throughout the day sleeves get mismarked and so get thrown away. Instead of chunking mine, I've been pocketing them and saving them and I'm getting quite a pile. I had that "I can make something with these" thought that we all get, but I haven't really come up with anything.

Ideas?

You're putting your stash to very good use. They all look amazing. I'd say the second one is my favorite, the colors just knock me out.
