Teetante, I LOVE the pompoms or whatever you spun into Calendula. My first thought was "marigolds!" But close enough
I was thinking about call that yarn marigold, but that's rather tagetes, isn't it? I don't like tagetes that much, they smell funny, but I loooove calendula. Thanks for the praise, they are pompoms from handspun yarn, made with a pompon-maker like this one
, they come in very handy. I also did a dandelion yarn with it:
But I didn't wash it yet, I hope the pompons don't shrink or get ugly.
So you watch Star Trek while doing the fiber arts? I almost ALWAYS have on a season of the X-Files. Or the LOTR trilogy. Or Star Wars Episodes 5-7. How much nerdier can I get?
Oh I also watch movies or a series while spinning or knitting.Bollywood movies or period films (Cranford or North & South is so great!) or other long stories, and I'm also through with DS9 and Stargate, and at the moment I'm watching Sex and the City. The last time I hat a go on tablet-weaving, I was watching the complete Star Wars...
