1  Geeky knitting again.. (the normal patterns are too boring... ;) ) in Knitting: Completed Projects by -anni- on: January 22, 2009 02:42:46 PM
After my first knitted geeky hat, some friends wanted similar ones. So I varied the pictures and the colors. The first try was this hat with Yoshi on it. (I knitted it twice, the first one was too large  Undecided)

The next hat has Gumba on it (one of those easy enemies...)

So, enough hats for now.

Going to the real old computer games, it was time for Space Invaders (and I wanted some socks) Wink

On the sides of each sock are different invaders. I decided to make them with stripes so they don't look too boring.

So, time for the next projects.. There are enough computer games left Wink
What do you think?

2  Finished my advent calendar just in time :) in Winter Holidays by -anni- on: December 01, 2008 05:45:24 PM
This year, I decided to make an advent calendar, which can be reused in the next year. I used wrapping paper to fold small paper bags and decorated the bags with different kind of ribbons and stars. (The little stars with the numbers were bought..)
Here is a view of the nearly complete calender (last 4 days are still missing..  Undecided )

A close up of the paper bags:

Hope you like it Smiley

4  First knitted hat (warning: geeky) in Knitting: Completed Projects by -anni- on: October 13, 2008 10:29:12 AM
Days are getting colder, so I decided I need a hat. I changed a pattern I found on the internet and decided to knit a Super Mario Mushroom on it. (Yes, it had to be something geeky Wink )

The pattern came out with a small spiral shape on top...

This is me wearing it..

Hope you like it. Smiley

5  Knitted a Super Mario Mushroom.. What could I do with it? in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by -anni- on: October 10, 2008 01:53:39 PM
Last evening I was bored and started knitting a mushroom from Super Mario. It's really not perfect (I am still bad knitting the edges), but now I am thinking about what to do with it.

(the width is about 15cm (5.5") )

My first idea was knitting an other one, sewing them together and making a small purse.
Do you have any better ideas?

6  My First Project: Space Invaders Hoodie in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by -anni- on: June 01, 2008 02:00:15 PM
I like old computer games, especially Space Invaders, but hoodies with them are hard to get. So I decided to buy a cheap hoodie and shew a Space Invader on it!
One small in front and a large one on the back.

It's not perfect, but it was my first try and I am glad it worked.
Hope you like it!
