RHPS bag, i am dying to know where you got the studs from and how you did this! please do tell!!

super warm gloves (i have already put them in the car so when i drive to work in the mornings i can actually touch the steering wheel and feel my fingers -  something that comes in handy when trying to drive a car)

cute tedy that was in the bag, i kind of think of him as the protector of my money!

feather boa/scarf, its actually more purple but my camera/lighting makes it look pink?? whats with that?

and my fav thing of all! a T-shirt! the text was freehand! i cant beleive how good it is! also the colour is spot on! i love that kind of grey i was about to buy a top in that colour last night and now i am glad i didnt cos this is way better!

Hi everyone! im not sure if this is allowed or not, but i have pics of the package i sent to deadbathducky and i was uploading a bunch of other pics and thought i would add these in too! hope you dont mind!

So one of the first things i made was some button/clips to attatch to shoes *i sent the shoes too!  Wink

Next was a black lace garter with black and red bows, with a gold locket in the middle (the locket has a pic of frank inside on the right hand side and his name on the other side.

a close up of the locket - it has little cross's hanging from chains (reminds me of the church scene at the begining of the movie.....hehehe)

and the locket inside

next i made two pendants sealed with resin, the first of frank, the second of magenta and columbia (i love the cinematic quality of the images!)

a pair of lips earings (also sealed behind resin)

a matching button/badge with a magnet attatched to put on your fridge, filing cabinet at work or your computer!

the box i made for all the little bits and pieces!

I had so much fun making all this stuff! i wanted to keep it all but my bf wouldnt let me  Cry

I had one last item that i wasnt sure would work out and was taking a while so i didnt send it through....but i will be sending it this week! its just something really small but i hope you like it deadbathducky! heheheh

16  From messy horror to tidy storage!! in Completed Projects by missmelissa on: July 29, 2008 11:58:49 PM
So i have joined alot of swaps in the last weeks and have had trouble actually acessing any of my crafty stuff

EXIBIT A:

can you see why?? i cant even get through the door!!

so my first challenge was to organise my pile of fabric!!

EXIBIT B:

i spent all day sunday neatly folding and colour co-ordinating my stash, i went to the reject shop and purchased 3 hanging storage devices for my cupboard (they fit perfectly) and WA-LA!! cheap and neat storage!!!

EXIBIT C:

the rest of the room is also much tidyer now, i will have to take a picture to commemorate this wonderfull event....it prob wont last very long!

I hope this post inspires you to tidy your crafty nook!!
Post your organisation nightmares so we can all cringe and say "at least my room isnt that bad....."!

So its really cold here, coming into winter and i have been wanting to make a scarf for a really long time, except i cant knit! so whats a girl to do?

Well i brought this natrual wool (sorry dont know the technical term) in grey and cream from spotlight, and followed the instructions here:

http://www.marthastewart.com/good-thing/no-knit-scarf

this is what i came up with! it was sooooooo easy! and i have received several comments, a friend told me she saw a very simular scarf for sale for $50!! Mine cost me less then $6! Woot!

on to the pics....

20  Old fashioned letter......IMG HEAVY in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by missmelissa on: July 18, 2008 05:01:52 PM
So i have been totally crazed with writting good old fashion letters, i was talking to some friends about how awesome it would be to receive random letters on different topics a kind of pen/pal system was discussed....we all agreed it would be cool but we are all so lazy/busy that finding the time is really hard. so i thought i would kick start the process and write this letter!
 Cheesy
I was studying up on modernism at the time and so the letter is written by a very snooty sounding lady at the time of Wilberforce and Charles Darwin (when his theory of evolution was first put forth!) she is very condeming of darwin and the fact that he married his cousin emily! hehehehe

i mailed it this week and have yet to hear from her so i assume that it will arrive early next week!

on to the letter porn!

front of the envelope - i ended up putting the whole thing into another envelope so the ribbon wouldn't get destroyed on the way.

the contents of the letter laid out for your viewing pleasure  Shocked

images attached to mini letter - ranging from apes to man to modern day stereotypes of women

close up of the images

bits and pieces illustrations i have done, small envelopes with patterns i designed and words of inspiration on the back

sealed with a wax cameo

what do u think?
