1  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Welliessss ? on: May 29, 2008 07:31:36 AM
Okay, I think this is in the right place :S
apologies if not.

I would really like some wellies to decorate and make my own as im going to be going to a few festivals / camping weekends over the summer.
Basically im just looking for your basic green wellies in a size 6,
Anyone know where i could get these from.. in england?
Ive had a look on ebay, and most of them are already decorated
or the ones that arent decorated are quite expensive
(cost is always an issue, lol im skint!)
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions id be grateful if you could let me know Smiley
Thanks alot,
Emily

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Sailor Mini Skirt :) on: May 28, 2008 07:16:38 AM
Okay so, this is my first ever skirt.
I made it without a pattern because I got excited and was too impatient to go shopping and buy one / get one off the internet.
I just wanted to makeeee clothessss, wheyy Cheesy haha

So here are some pics:

Its a denim waistband with a zip down one side, then the stripy material has no stretch but im not too sure what its called :S
But its pleateddd as you can see.

I also have made a cute bow from the stripy material, and tied it round the middle with a small bit of denim, I was considering putting this on the waistband but im not sure, what do you think?
Orrr, i could just stick it on a hair grip and wear it in my hair Cheesy
Its a pretty big bow which would be cooool.

I'd appreciate comments,
Thanks, Emily Smiley
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / My first ever recon top, anddd first ever top :) on: May 26, 2008 09:53:57 AM
Okay then, this is my first ever top...ever !
I had an old kids graffiti top, from when i was about 10 (I don't throw anything away :S)
And I had a huuuge t-shirt from taking part in a tennis competition.
These are the original tops:

So, take two old tops, and make one new strapless boobtubeeee Smiley (ignore my brastraps lol)

And this is a close up of the graffiti bit:

It's sort of based on a tute from whatthecraft.com, but i had to modify it a bit because i couldnt get the contour bust right, so i added the gathered bit to make up for it Smiley
I would appreciate your comments, and any suggestions on what i could do better Smiley
Thanks,
emily
xx
p.s. i'm not a robot :/ but its making me post links because im still a newbieee so apologies about that Smiley
