1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Lots of Hoops and One Rather Silly Quote on: March 23, 2014 10:00:56 AM
I've been neglecting Craftster lately but I have been busy stitching. I thought I would clump some of what I've done over the past few months into one post. Enjoy!

This was just a using up spare floss quick stitch, quite like the style but not sure what to do with it.

Love butterflies, love the simplicity of these two.

Nice simple bird, kind of like the butterflies

I love this sewing machine but it took far longer than anticipated and drove me a bit crazy by the end!

And I finish off all these nice stitches with this. I love this and love the way the colours turn out on it. Need to frame it.
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Game of Thrones/Pokemon Cross Stitch on: October 13, 2013 09:13:04 AM
This cross stitch combines Game of Thrones and Pokemon, 2 of my favourite things!

Started it in July, finished it today. Just need to find a frame and a space on my wall to hang it!

It took a lot longer than I thought but I think it was worth the effort. It's stitched on 16 count aida.

3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Video Game Quote Cross Stitch on: July 13, 2013 04:29:00 AM
My boyfriend plays video games all the time. I mean all the time. So I stitched a quote about him!

It's stitched on 'Antique White' Aida which I ordered by accident instead of white and I'm not totally keen on the off white colour. It's on 18 count which actually wasn't too much of a pain to stitch on despite me normally using 14 or 16 count.

Also I had to post a pic of the back of it, because my backs are never this neat and I was proud of it!!

4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / For the Love of Tea! on: June 14, 2013 07:27:36 AM
I love kawaii stuff and being British I do enjoy a cup of tea. So I combined them and this was the resulting cross stitch!

It's in a 4" hoop and stitched on 18 count aida.
5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Simple Home Sweet Home Cross Stitch on: April 28, 2013 04:42:32 AM
Working on a play at the moment and the director decided he'd like a home sweet home cross stitch on the wall. As I had all the stuff I volunteered to make it. Not framed yet.

Metallic Thread drove me bonkers again on this piece, even though there wasn't that much of it used!

Designed the pattern based on a couple of pictures of Victorian Cross Stitched I found online, as the play is set around that era.
6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Yummy Cards! on: March 26, 2013 10:34:59 AM
Cross Stitched myself some cards. I personally think they look delicious!

7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Keep Calm Mother's Day Cross Stitch on: February 21, 2013 08:22:26 AM
These Keep Calm Cross Stitches seem to be my thing at the moment!

A very pink mother's day one. I avoided the metallic thread unlike my St Patrick's Day one!

8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Keep Calm St Patrick's Day Cross Stitch on: February 14, 2013 08:21:24 AM
St Patrick's Day will be here soon so I thought I'd do a take on the "Keep Calm" Posters.

The Shamrock is in metallic thread (I don't know why I use metallic thread I hate the stuff!)
9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Celtic Heart Cross Stitch Hoop on: January 19, 2013 01:04:19 PM
Got Valentine's on the brain at the moment!

This took me longer than I thought but I'm pleased with the result. Think a series in different colours would look nice.

10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Binary Valentine's Cross Stitch on: January 14, 2013 01:28:12 PM
I love geeky stuff and decided to make a card that said "I love you" in binary. It's a good job my boyfriend likes this kind of thing as well!
